Notes by NW celebrates the music and the musicians with roots in the Pacific NW. Artists range from the Wailers and Ventures from the 1960s, to Ray Charles and Quincy Jones, each of whom lived in Seattle and met with they were 16 and 14; to icons like Kenny Loggins and Heart; Jimi Hendrix, of course; the grunge bands and their offspring; and contemporary artists like Brandi Carlile and The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio.

This is my new show on KPTZ in Port Townsend, airing from 8-9PM. Radio Cascadia features local artists--singer songwriters, alt and folk--focusing on those from PT, the Olympic Peninsula, and some from Washington, Oregon and BC.
